Just a few things…
Just me and my crazy thoughts.
A FEW THINGS A WOMAN DESERVES . . .
~Enough money to always take care of herself even if she doesn’t think she’ll ever need it.
~A bucket list that actually gets checked off.
~Something perfect to wear if the man of her dreams says he’ll pick her up in an hour.
~A treasure chest full of memories that make her blush and laugh when she gets old.
~Necessary things like a hammer and screwdrivers, a drill, and a sassy bra and bloomers that make her feel pretty.
~A friend who makes her laugh, who cries with her when she’s upset, and tells her what she needs to hear.
~Not to pee in her pants when she laughs but enough laughter to make it worthwhile if she does.
~A set of dishes that actually match and wine glasses that get used now and then.
~A feeling and calm in her soul that her future is going to be okay.
~A person in her life that makes her feel safe even if that person has to be her.
A FEW THINGS EVERY WOMAN SHOULD LEARN HOW TO DO . . .
~How to fall in love with herself before falling in love with someone else.
~How to say no gracefully and without regret.
~How to handle confrontation without apology and without fear.
~When to give more and when to stop giving at all.
~Live alone and kill spiders all by herself.
~Trust people without hesitation , , , until she has a reason not to.
~Move on when the reason becomes clear.
~Not to take things personally.
~How to let go of things she takes personally and realize it’s not about her.
~Not to worry about things that may not happen and likely won’t.
~Not to create things in her mind that may not happen and likely won’t.
A FEW THINGS EVERY WOMAN SHOULD REMEMBER . . .
~That she can’t change the way she was raised.
~That people don’t think about her or talk about her nearly as much as she thinks they do.
~That people aren’t always as amazing as their Facebook status says they are.
~The appropriate time to take a nap.
~That it’s always the appropriate time to take a nap if she needs it.
~How not to feel guilty if she takes a nap.
~That life is not perfect and that perfect is boring.
~That she can’t change the size of her boobs without a lot of money.
~That she should love her boobs anyway . . . even as they change.
~That stretch marks are for heroes.
A FEW THINGS EVERY WOMAN SHOULD BELIEVE . . .
~She is a child of God.
~She is beautiful.
~She is worthy.
~She is worthy (did I say that already?)
~She is amazing.
~She means the world to someone.
~She can change the world even if it’s the world of just one person.
~That one person may occasionally have to be her.
Love you, mean it! And thank you for being here!
