I’m Tracey, the writer and Crazy Girl behind these pages.
I am a newlywed at 58 (now, that’s a story!), a mother of three, and a grandmother to two little cutie pies – let me show you pictures! I grew up on a farm in NC where I still live today, and while growing up, my Daddy (who has been called crazy a time or two) called me crazy, Motor Mouth, Rubber Jaws, and Giggle Box. While I could have developed a few complexes, I naively lived up to each name. Eventually came marriage, children, careers, and a lot of happy, but eventually leading to loss, divorce, and sadness. The girl I had been disappeared.
Fast forward a few years, after a dark and tough journey, love found me. Someone special called me Crazy Girl and over time, I reappeared; the more I did, the more it set me on fire to learn to love all of me again. Today, I am married to that special person who reminded me of who I was and we share this adventure called life!
I believe there is at least one YAY in every day, some small, some hard to find, and some that rock your world! I’m talking about the kind of crazy about sunrises, Christmas, good friends, or maybe just waking up in the morning. I had lost sight of all those things, worrying about everyone else, about what others thought, and those days are over. I’m on a mission to find my yay every day and help you do the same as I share my journey, the before me, the during me, and the happily ever after me.
My writing comes to me most often in the early hours of the morning and I never know what it will be. I just share, authentically and honestly share, whatever comes to me, even when it’s hard, and I welcome your comments, your heart, your prayers, and you.

Hi Tracey ☺️ I “discovered” you on FB just like last week. I’m one of your fellow “criers” who just wants to be herself and remember that the Lord sees, hears, cares and knows all. And what a “beyond” “yay” that is! ???????? I just prayed for you. Please pray for me if you are led to… going thru high stress times with my mom, who has Parkinson’s and dementia, and I live with her… ???? Thank you for your ministry. ✝️ – Julie Jules
