I am determined to take chances and read a few books by authors I’ve never heard of. This was my first and I’ve since learned it’s a fairly well-known book and a movie! I live in a bubble.

I was not so sure how I felt when I first started it because the author’s writing style is very different than what I’m used to.  I am so glad I stuck it out because I fell in love with the characters along with Zusak’s unusual style of writing.  It was oddly captivating!  This book is set during WWII and is written from the voice of a ‘character’ you’ll figure out as you go or maybe at the end. I didn’t want to lose touch with these people. Definitely worth reading so + from me! I’ll put the link here because this cover has changed.
