Our woes and worries
weigh us down,
heavy,
tearful,
until they become
a dwelling place.
Woe is me,
this home of mine.
While we ride
the woe coaster,
He watches,
He loves,
He sits on the porch
longing for us
to come sit with Him.
His love is so great
and the size of our woes
doesn’t change it.
It is what it is.
His love.
He is who He is.
Our Father.
He simply and
magnificently
loves us.
Even in our shame,
He does not reach to blame.
In our worries and woe,
as we toss to and fro,
He just loves,
exactly the same
as He did yesterday,
the day before that,
and tomorrow.
Get off the ride,
run to Him,
He has a place
on the porch,
beside Him,
waiting just for you.
Sit awhile.
Stay awhile.
A long while.
Until your woes are gone
and you smile.
Once again.

Thank you, sometimes we need to be reminded that He is there through it all. ❤️
