I read this series a few years ago, and came across them when looking through my bookshelf today. I just had to share them with you.

When B’s wife passed away in 2017, he was lost, as you can imagine and perhaps understand. Forty years with one person and suddenly thrust into a life alone. His brother gave him the first in this series to read and it was incredible the similarities in their stories as the character, suffering his own loss, tried to get to Key West, a metaphor B used many times later. After he told me about the books, I decided to read them in an effort to know and understand more about his effort to get to his own Key West. They wound up touching me in more ways than that, however, as I was navigating the loss of a 30 year marriage.

The bottom line is these books are excellent and became special to me so I felt led to share them with you. These can be bought as this set or separately and every book is important. He is an amazing writer as most of you know.
